Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Stride website, mobile application, and related services operated by Stride Technologies.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Stride, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms are effective as of April 9, 2026 and may be updated from time to time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Stride. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Stride with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You may use Stride only if you can form a binding agreement with Stride Technologies and your use of the service is not prohibited by applicable law.
Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or terminate access if information is inaccurate, if the account is used in a way that violates these terms, or if we reasonably believe the account presents security or legal risk.
Subscriptions and Billing
Some features of Stride require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and payment handling are managed by the platform through which you purchase, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, together with our subscription service providers.
If your subscription includes a free trial or introductory offer, it may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the renewal date through the applicable platform.
Access to paid features may be limited, suspended, or removed if the relevant platform reports that payment was not completed, reversed, expired, or otherwise invalid.
No Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable except where refunds are required by applicable law or mandatory platform policies. Stride Technologies does not offer discretionary refunds.
Health and Fitness Disclaimer
Stride provides training content, performance estimates, and planning tools for general fitness and athletic use only. Stride is not medical advice, physical therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified physician, athletic trainer, or coach.
Sprinting and related training can be physically demanding and can result in fatigue, strain, falls, or serious injury. You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to participate, warming up properly, using safe technique, and stopping if you feel pain, dizziness, or other warning signs.
By using Stride, you acknowledge that you participate in training and exercise activities at your own risk.
Program Recommendations and Predictions
Stride may generate training plans, target times, projected race times, and other performance outputs based on information you provide and internal models. These outputs are informational estimates only.
We do not guarantee performance improvements, competition results, injury prevention, or that any recommendation is appropriate for your particular condition, skill level, or goals.
Video Analysis and Speed Estimates
Stride may analyze video to estimate movement and sprint speed. These outputs depend on factors such as camera angle, frame rate, image quality, lighting, body positioning, pose detection quality, and the accuracy of measurements you provide, including body metrics.
Video-based speed outputs are estimates only. They are not guaranteed to be precise, scientifically validated for every use case, or suitable as an official competitive, medical, or diagnostic measurement.
Leaderboards and Public Features
Certain features may let you appear on public or semi-public leaderboards. If you use these features, your username and related performance data may be displayed to other users.
You must not submit false, manipulated, abusive, or misleading content or attempt to interfere with rankings or other users’ use of public features.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse Stride, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where applicable law allows it, or use the service in a way that violates any law or another person’s rights.
We may investigate misuse and take action including restricting features, suspending accounts, removing content, or terminating access.
Intellectual Property
Stride and its related content, branding, software, designs, models, text, graphics, and functionality are owned by Stride Technologies or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using Stride at any time. If you delete your account, we will process deletion of applicable account data associated with the service in accordance with our systems and policies.
Some information may remain where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or operational reasons. Data stored locally on your own device may remain until you remove it.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stride is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stride Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, training outcomes, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of Stride.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.
